From idea to conviction

The journey of our company started with the following simple questions: Is it possible to sell a used device online in ten minutes? How do we ensure that the purchased device is subsequently given a second life in perfect quality?

Convinced that the purchase and sale of used electronic products online is convenient and secure, we founded Recommerce AG at the end of July 2012.

Trust needs security

Buying a smart device is a matter of trust. The more so, if it is a used mobile phone, tablet, MacBook or Notebook. For this reason, we defined the following principles, which also determine our actions today:

  • The protection of data of our customers has the absolute priority!
  • Every purchased device is «put through its paces» so that the future owner receives the same quality as a new device!
  • The ecological idea should form the basis of our actions so that we can make our contribution to CO2 reduction!
To date, more than 100,000 customers in Switzerland have used our buying or selling services. When may we serve you?

Repair - a sensible alternative?

When we went online with our website at the end of November 2012, the repairs were actually only a means to an end, in order to repair the purchased devices. However, it soon became clear to us that we can only meet our quality standards, if our technicians can attend further training courses conducted by the most important manufacturers and if we can also obtain the necessary spare parts from them.

Today, we are the official service partner of Apple und Samsung, repair more than 5,000 devices every month and are one of the largest provider of repair service in Switzerland.

Sunrise - much more than a partner

The cooperation with Sunrise began in 2014 with the trade-in of used devices in their branches. In September 2017, we received the first devices for repair and today we are Sunrise's main service centre for Apple and Samsung repairs (in and out of warranty).
