1. General conditions

    Recommerce AG is the operator of the websites verkaufen.ch,vendre.ch, vendere.ch, recommerce.ch and the services offered on them. Recommerce is therefore responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data and the compatibility of the data processing with the applicable data protection law.

    The protection of your privacy is very important to us. With this privacy statement we inform you about our data processing methods, related to the use of our services.

    Should there be any inconsistency between this data protection statement and the general terms and conditions of Recommerce AG, the provisions of this data protection statement will prevail.
  2. Personal datas

    When you place a sales order, a repair order or a purchase in our online shop on our websites, we need the following information for their fulfilment:

    - Salutation, First and Last name
    - Invoice address (and if different delivery address)
    - Phone number (for any queries)
    - Email address
    - IBAN number (It is used for the payment of the credit balance on the sale of products)

    Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy or you have given your consent, we will only use the aforementioned data to process the contract, namely to process your orders, to deliver the ordered products or to ensure the correct payment of your credit.
  3. Delivery on account (Powerpay)

    If you have selected the option "Delivery on account (Powerpay)" when buying a product, we will forward your personal data to the financial institution MF Group AG, 9000 St. Gallen. MF Group is a subsidiary of Arvato Financial Solutions and part of the globally active Bertelsmann Group. The legal basis for the data transfer is the fulfilment of a contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  4. Newsletter

    For newsletter dispatch, we use the so-called opt-in procedure, which means that we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have previously expressly confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service. Should you later no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe at any time.
  5. Cookies

    Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer or mobile device when you use one of our internet pages. The cookies that we use serve, firstly, to ensure that our websites function properly – such as shopping basket functionality or to store your entries temporarily when you fill out a form on the website. Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. You can prevent the storage of cookies under "Settings" in your browser. Deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.
  6. Google Analytics

    We use Google Analytics for the ongoing optimisation of our websites. This provides us the following information:

    - Navigation path which a visitor follows on the site,
    - the time spent on the site or sub-page,
    - the sub-page on which the website is left,
    - the country, region or city from which a visitor accessed the site,
    - terminal device (type, version, resolution) and
    - Returning or new visitor.

    Such data is transmitted to Google Inc, based in the USA, whereby the IP address is anonymised. You can prevent this tracking with this link.
  7. AWIN (Affiliate Marketing)

    We work with the company Awin, which belongs to Axel Springer and United Internet, to increase our sales. Cookies are also used here for data collection and primarily the billing of commissions when a customer comes to us via another website.

  8. Security of payment

    For the payment process in our shop, you use the Saferpay product from SIX Payment Service. The certified payment platform guarantees simple and secure credit and debit card payments for both the shop operator and the cardholder.

    SIX Payment Services is a subsidiary of Worldline and thus the largest European technology partner for banks and merchants.

    Recommerce itself does not store any data of the credit card or the other payment options (e.g. Twint).
  9. Storage of the data

    We keep your personal data for as long as we consider necessary or reasonable to comply with the applicable laws, or for as long as this is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. We delete your personal data as soon as they are no longer required, and in any case after the end of the maximum retention period prescribed by law.
  10. Rights of information

    You have the right to assert your data protection rights at any time, and to obtain information about your stored personal data, to rectify, add to, object to the processing of your personal data, or demand the deletion of your personal data.
